What you study
Campus 02's Marketing & Sales bachelor gives you a broad base in business administration and then builds marketing and sales skills on top. The central topics are Marketing & Sales Management, Consumer Behavior, Market Research, Sales Performance, Communication Management, Controlling and AI Data Analytics. The curriculum has a digital focus: you learn to design strategies and use tools and data to reach customers across all channels.
Courses in the semester overview include Fundamentals in Marketing, Fundamentals in Sales, Sales Psychology, Understanding the Market, Creating Value 1 and 2, Communicating Value, Delivering Value, Managing Relations, Sales Advanced, Business Project, Marketing Performance, Innovation & Disruption, Sales Competition, Academic Research Methods, Empirical Analysis Methods and Legal Fundamentals. You also take Essential Skills, Mastering English, Onboarding and Fundamentals in Economics. Elective courses let you shape the degree to your interests, and there is an elective compulsory module called Entrepreneurship in Practice.
How the programme is organised
The degree runs over 6 semesters and 180 ECTS and is offered full-time or extra-occupational. Full-time study has two cohorts: one taught in German (partly English) with 40 places, and one taught entirely in English with 30 places. Full-time teaching runs over 17 weeks per semester, mainly Monday to Thursday, with appointments possible on Friday mornings. The extra-occupational cohort has 40 places, is taught in German (partly English), and runs Friday 14:30 to 21:30 and Saturday 8:00 to 16:00, with evening appointments during the week mainly online. The extra-occupational programme starts with an intensive week from 7 to 11 September.
An internship is planned in the 5th semester (16 ECTS). It can be recognised if you have relevant professional experience. Real-life practical projects with companies run through the programme, and there are sales training sessions and a Sales Competition. A semester abroad or an internship abroad is possible. Teaching mixes classroom and online formats, and most lecturers come from business. Each year group is accompanied by a "Captain", a person from industry who shares practical experience and advises at key milestones. Guest lectures from experts and managers add to the mix.
Who it suits
This programme suits people who want to work in marketing and sales and prefer learning by doing projects with real clients. The extra-occupational form is aimed at working people who want to develop their skills, and also at school leavers without professional experience who only enter the world of work during their studies. The full-time English cohort is for students who want to study entirely in English. Expect group projects and real company tasks, so good time planning matters.
Admission, language and next steps
Entry requirements are a general university entrance qualification, a suitable university entrance qualification examination, or a relevant professional qualification (such as an apprenticeship) with an additional examination. For the German-language programme you need German at level B2; for the English-language programme, English at level B2.
Applications go directly to Campus 02, not through a central portal. The process is an online application, submission of further documents (including a prepared task), and an admission interview with the commission, in person or virtually. The institution's own page gives the application period and deadlines. The teaching language is German and English: the full-time programme is partly taught in English, with one cohort entirely in English, so check which parts apply to you. The degree awarded is Bachelor of Arts in Business, BA.
