How this directory works

One national register

Programmes and institutions come from the Austrian national register (BMFWF open data and studienwahl.at), with practical information from the OeAD at studyinaustria.at. Each page links to the institution's own programme page.

Gaps are stated, not filled

Where the register has no fee for a programme, the page says "not listed, check the institution". A missing fee is never shown as free, and a programme taught in German and English is never shown as fully English.

No placement for money

Programmes are listed because they are in the register, not because an institution paid. Institutions are ordered by a method we state on the ranking pages.
