About MCI | The Entrepreneurial School
MCI | The Entrepreneurial School is a university of applied sciences in Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. It was founded in 1995 and appears in the Austrian national register of higher education institutions under the category Fachhochschule. The register lists its seat as Innsbruck.
The register records 29 programmes of all kinds and languages at MCI. Of these, 13 are English-taught degree programmes: 2 at Bachelor's level and 11 at Master's level. The subjects covered across the institution include Biotechnology, Tourism Management, Business Administration, International Business, Communication & Media, Mechatronics Engineering, Energy & Renewable Engineering, Economics, Psychology and Sports Science.
If you apply as an international student, you apply directly to MCI. The institution sets its own application period and its own entrance procedure, so check its website for the dates and requirements that apply to the programme you want. Students from outside the EU/EEA need a Residence Permit, Student to study in Austria.
At public universities, students from the EU/EEA and Switzerland pay no tuition within the standard duration of their programme plus two semesters, and most other students pay a per-semester fee. Every student pays the student union fee. MCI is a university of applied sciences, not a public university, so check its own fee rules directly with the institution before you apply.
The OeAD directory lists an MCI page at studyinaustria.at for further information.
The register in numbers
Fees are in euros as the register lists them. A programme with no figure in the register is "not listed" on its page, never free. At a public university, no tuition for EU/EEA/Swiss students applies within the standard duration plus two semesters, not for ever.
